Hand Painted Trunk

This one of a kind trunk from Jodhpur showcases the rich decorative traditions of Rajasthan, with every surface adorned in intricate hand-painted detail. Processions of richly caparisoned elephants, riders and figures unfold across the panels, framed by elaborate floral borders and architectural motifs inspired by Mughal and Rajput miniature painting.
